Alan Hawkshaw is the father of dancer Kirsty Hawkshaw. He was featured on the albums Live in Japan and Shades of Rock by The Shadows and the Champ by The Mohawks. The single “The Champ” has been sampled by several artists including Redman, Eric B. & Rakim, KRS-One, Ice Cube, Migos, and more.
