He self-produces all of his audio and video in his own home. He released his debut studio album In Your Atmosphere which was funded through a KickStarter campaign. Goot’s YouTube channel has almost two million subscribers and has been viewed more than 330 million times. In 2011 he won an MTV O Music Award for Best Fan Cover for “Hold It Against Me” by Britney Spears. Goot was also nominated for a Streamy Award in 2013 for Best Original Song for “Lightning”.
