Upon graduation, he spent some time working for various companies in the States before getting back to Turkey to join the family business. Initially, he served as the Chief Executive of the information technologies group of the holding, whereas now he is the Chairman of the Board at Ford Otosan. In 2012, he acquired that post filling the shoes of his father Mustafa who had been at the helm for 40 years. Married to Nevbahar Demirağ, Yildirim Ali Koc is also a father of two.
