As largest stakeholder comes Alisher Usmanov with 50% of shares, who is followed by Andrei Skoch (30%), and Vasily Anisimov (20%). Today, the company incorporates two main divisions: the mining division (Lebedinsky GOK and Mikhailovsky GOK) and the steel division (Oskol Elektrometallurgical Plant (OEMK) and Ural Steel). Apart from his involvement in the metallurgical business, Andrei Skoch became a member of the Russian parliament’s lower house in 1999. Away from his daily duties, he sponsors a literary competition for young authors called Debut, as well as he is erecting a memorial to fallen Russian soldiers in Port Arthur (Lyushun, China), the site of the bloodiest battles of the Russo-Japanese war of 1904-1905. As for his private life, he is divorced and has eight children.
