After spending two years at Sabre, he teamed up with Martin Lueck and Michael Adam to found Adam, Harding & Lueck (AHL). A decade later, David Harding set up his investment management firm Winton Capital Management, which was launched with $1.6 million worth of assets. Just three years later, the firm had an average annual return of 18% and it is said to hold a total of $28.5 billion assets as of February 2012. While today, Winton manages around $25 billion in assets and employs more than 270 people. Harding still remains as the majority owner of the firm and he has been serving as the firm’s president since 2013.
