Glanville was a defensive backs coach with the Atlanta Falcons from 1977 to 1978 and their defensive coordinator from 1979 to 1982. In 1993 he was the Buffalo Bills defensive backs coach. Glanville was defensive coordinator for the Houston Oilers from 1986 to 1989 and was their head coach from 1990 to 1993. He was the defensive coordinator at Hawaii from 2005 to 2006 and the head coach at Portland State from 2007 to 2009. As an analyst he has worked for HBO’s Inside the NFL, CBS’s The NFL Today, the NFL on CBS, and the NFL on Fox. Glanville raced on the Automobile Racing Club of American circuit.
