He has helped artists such as Anita Baker, Keith Sweat, BeBe Winans, CeCe Winans, Simply Red, The Cure, Ten Thousand Maniacs, Tracy Chapman, and MC Hammer. He has helped artists such as Brian McKnight get signed. He also picked the Wu-Tang Clan to remix “Anything” by SWV which helped the group break out. In A & R he has worked with Quincy Jones, LA Reid, Skip Miller, Tom Whalley, Pharrell Williams, and Bruce Lundvall. In 2000 he joined the rock and hip hop band the Flobots as their drummer. The band has released three studio albums and had a hit with “Handlebars” in 2008.
