In December he had the Submission of the Night with a win over Shane Primm. Krzysztof Soszynski made his UFC debut at UFC 97 defeating Brian Stann with the Submission of the Night. He defeated Andre Gusmao in May 2009 and lost to Brandon Vera in August 2009. Krzysztof Soszynski beat Stephan Bonnar in February 2010 but lost to him in July 2010 in the Fight of the Night. His last fight was a loss to Igor Pokrajac in December 2011 to bring his record to 26-12-1.
