They released the album The Colour of Spring in 1986 which reached #1 in the Netherlands and 8 in the UK. The band also released the albums Spirit of Eden in 1988 and Laughing Stock in 1991. Their single “Talk Talk” reached #1 in South Africa and their single “Such a Shame” reached #1 in Switzerland. They also had success with the singles “It’s My Life”, “Life’s What You Make It”, and “Living in Another World”. He released his self-titled studio album in 1998. Mark Hollis passed away on February 25, 2019 at 64 years old.
