“Ed,” was broadcast on NBC from 2000 to 2004, the show won a People’s Choice Award and earned them an Emmy nomination for writing. The “Ed,” series is where Burnett made his directorial debut in February 2003. The Comedy TV series “The Knights of Prosperity,” was based on a group of blue-collar guys who decide to rob Mick Jagger. This joint venture between Touchstone Pictures, Worldwide Pants Inc., and B&B Productions, premiered on ABC in 2007. He graduated in 1984 from Tufts University, he majored in English and he also played varsity soccer. In 2008 Tuffs University presented Burnet with the P.T. Barnum Award for his exceptional work in the field of media and entertainment. He is married to his wife Eunice; they have two daughters and one son.
