In 2007 Lane was named one of the Top 20 Adult Actresses at Adultcon. In 2017 she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame. Tory Lane is a personal friend of fellow adult actress Jennifer Ketcham. In 2015, Lane was arrested for allegedly attacking passengers and members of the flight crew on a Delta Airlines flight. She was subsequently was sued by a flight attendant.
