He joined Evian F.C. signing a four year contract in August 2014. Tejeda also represents Costa Rica in international competition. He has played for their Under-17 and Under-20 teams and joined their senior side in 2011 where he has recorded 27 appearances. He was a key player in the 2014 FIFA World Cup for Costa Rica and helped the team qualify for the tournament.
